CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Virginia Department of Transportation’s crews continue treating neighborhood roads and secondary streets from the winter storm a week ago.
VDOT advises road conditions have improved, but temperatures have remained below freezing, and as such motorists should be cautious.
Closings and delays are coming in for Monday, Feb. 2.

Albemarle County Public Schools – Closed Friday; offices open 2-hours late, All after-school activities are canceled, meal site is open at Greer Elementary tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, from 12:00-1:00 for Journey, Greer, Woodbrook & Agnor families, Feb. 16 Feb. 17 and Mar. 19 are now regular instruction days
