Reeves drops out of race to challenge Warner

Photo: Saga Communications/The race for the Republican nomination has whittled down to three.


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Bryce Reeves, the highest-profile Republican who was running to unseat Senator Mark Warner next year, has dropped out of the race.

He made the announcement in a Sunday Facebook post, citing a “serious family health matter and the realities of timing.”

There are now three Republicans currently seeking their party’s nomination: cybersecurity and financial management company founder Kim Farrington; former State Department and CIA official David Williams; and economic development consultant Aldous Mina.
