CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – City Public Works is advising permitted activity will occur within the westbound lanes of Ivy Road west of Copeley Road between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. today that could cause traffic tie-ups. Expect the temporary deactivation of the traffic signal, lane closures, and flagging operations through the intersection during these times. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to exercise due caution should it become necessary to do so.
