Guy Edward Greene, 46 of Greene County, Virginia, departed this life on Saturday, July 8, 2024. He was born in Princeton, West Virginia on December 4, 1977. He was the son of the late James “Jimmy” Greene and Pauline Mable Greene.

Guy received his education through Princeton, West Virginia public schools. He received his master’s degree from West Virginia State University in Religious Counseling. Guy had many trades and held many certifications he was most proud of working for the Department of Corrections for many years and having his Class A & B CDL. Guy enjoyed being around family and friends, there is not a stranger that ever crossed his path. He enjoyed talking about anything that pertained to sports, trucks, wrestling, politics, country music, family, and the great mountains of West Virginia. Guy was truly a friend to all and wasn’t afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone, he sincerely loved people and wanted to be loved in return. Guy was a former member of New Covenant Pentecostal Church and Living Hope Outreach Deliverance Ministries.

Guy was preceded in death by his uncle, Doug Greene; grandmother, Mary Phillips; and his grandmother-in-love, Mary E. Jones whom he shared a special bond with.

Guy leaves to cherish his memory his former wife, Sherrika Nowell; daughter, Giauna Nowell; bonus son, Sethaun Nowell all of Charlottesville, Virginia; bonus son, Austyn Nowell, of Richmond, Virginia; one uncle, George Day; and Aunt, Loretta Day of Yorktown, VA; and a host of family members and friends.
