Charlottesville City offices to close early Friday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The City of Charlottesville will be operating on a modified schedule on Friday for an employee appreciation event. according to city social media and website announcements.

Public safety, including fire and police services, will be available as usual, but the lobby in City Hall will close at 2 p.m.

City departments operating on a modified schedule included the Office of Economic Development, Clerk of Council, and Office of Sustainability which will all close at noon.

Utility Billing, the City Treasurer, and Neighborhood Development Services will close at 2:00 PM

Offices will reopen on Monday on a regular schedule.
