A Gordonsville man charged in the October 14 East Market Street murder

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Charlottesville Police have a Gordonsville man in custody in the October 14th murder of an individual in the 300 block of East Market Street. Reginald Eugene Lindsay was arrested around 8:15 this (Tuesday) morning with the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, State Police, and the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the Central Virginia Regional Jail where he’s held without bond.

CPD got the call shortly before 3am Saturday, October 14 and arrived to find Danny Hall with serious gunshot wounds. He was taken to UVa where he died a short time later. Police immediately put out a call to residents and businesses near the downtown crime scene for video surveillance footage, as well as witnesses they knew were at the location.

Linsday is charged with 2nd-degree murder.
